Richtersveld Area
Description
The four communities of the Richtersveld sets an excellent example of true Nama culture. Eksteenfontein hosts a community guesthouse and serves traditional meals on request. Sanddrift is situated on the banks of the mighty Gariep (Orange River) and offers good angling oppotunities. On the vorder of the Richtersveld, the settlement of Kuboes offers cultural activities such as Nama dancing (on request) while tourists can experience Nama hospitality at Lekkersing.
